CHAWAKUA is a small grass-roots NGO focusing on the education of
HIV/AIDS and Sexual Reproduction to women and youth in the Arusha region of
Tanzania.
CHAWAKUA is active in the community with many events to educate and support the vulnerable community.

In 2008 CHAWAKUA received grants from the individual American Lady Mrs. Sonya Erickson to educate vulnerable orphans of the Arusha Municipal for four year
The microfinance project was initiated in 2007 for the aim of helping people living positive with HIV/AIDS, who are affected by HIV/AIDS, orphans, widows, guardians and vulnerable women.
